In this episode, Tulsi Lal Amatya describes the events after the Third Party Congress of the Communist Party of Nepal.
Soon after the congress, cracks began to emerge in party. Pushpalal kept on with his ideology that was rejected by the party congress. The Rayamajhi group continued their own pro-king ideology and started their own group. On the other hand, some groups in party began to propagate the ultra-left so called Maoist ideology. Some other groups separated from the party calling themselves Mashal, another ultra-left ideology.
Thus many different groups emerged within the party. These groups started working against the decisions of the third party congress.
Around this time, the US played a very active role on the breakup of the one and only communist party in Nepal. Some knowingly, some unknowingly fell into the trap of CIA and contributed to this breakup within the party.
