Memoir : The Illusion of Development

27. संस्मरणका पानाहरु - विकासको भ्रमः पुँजीवादी लोकतन्त्र, विदेशी पुँजी र नव-उपनिवेशवाद

In this episode, Tulsi Lal Amatya describes the present conditioning of the so called capitalist democracies, where inequality is rising, poverty is rising and unemployment is rising. He tells us why this path of capitalist democracy and foreign capital eventually leads a country into the trap of Neo-colonialism. The result of Neo-colonialism is that foreign capital is used for the exploitation rather than for the development of the poor countries of the world, including Nepal. And, colonialism lives on in the form of globalism around the world.

This audio story is an excerpt from his memoir “Sansmaran Ka Panaharu“ (संस्मरणका पानाहरु) and describes the political environment and events of those times.
