He tells us why this path of capitalist democracy and foreign capital eventually leads a country into the trap of Neo-colonialism. The result of Neo-colonialism is that foreign capital is used for the exploitation rather than for the development of the poor countries of the world, including Nepal. And, colonialism lives on in the form of globalism around the world.

This audio story is an excerpt from his memoir “Sansmaran Ka Panaharu“ (संस्मरणका पानाहरु) and describes the political environment and events of those times.

Narrated By:
Achyut Ghimire

Copyrights:
Original Book संस्मरणका पानाहरु (c) Amatya Family
Audiobook (c) The TL Project

More Information:
https://tulsilalamatya.com

Memoir : Why Democracy Failed To Solve Peoples' Problem

Listen now | 26. संस्मरणका पानाहरु - जनताको प्रश्न : खोइ, प्रजातन्त्र ल्याएर के भयो?

Tulsi Lal Amatya

People fought for democracy in Nepal and they succeeded.
